Here and there, this and that...

Wow, last blog entry was over two months ago!  My apologies… Many things have happened since…

I was away on a family holiday in Australia, and boy did we have a great time!  I now have a new collection of Australia shots, but I just haven’t had the time to post process them all yet, since I've had a number of freelance jobs on the side…  Here's one I managed to squeeze five minutes of editing!  Can you guess where it is? ;-)

I find Flickr really rewarding for me, personally, as it is thanks to Flickr that I have received photographic job opportunities.  As well as being a Getty Images Contributor, I'm now also a casual real estate photographer.  Real estate photography is a new genre for me, but I believe I have picked that up seamlessly ;-)  Not saying there’s nothing to improve, of course! 

Last week, I also did a photo shoot of a very cute two year old.  It’s currently Autumn in New Zealand, and our very own Hagley Park is just absolutely beautiful when it is painted with an array of red, orange, yellow and brown leaves…  Here are a few of my favourite shots from that session. 

I have also acquired a new manual flash which I have yet to try it out properly, but a review of that will come in the near future I'm sure…

A few other personal side notes – I'm back at work in the office now, and have just re-joined the gym so I've been a very busy lady! 

Well that pretty much sums up my last two months!  I promise my next entry won’t be that far away! x
