Hello strangers. I cannot believe it's been nearly a year since my last post on my blog.
I guess many things have happened and life has changed somewhat since August 2012.
My family and I migrated from New Zealand to Australia in September last year, and we are now living happily in Sydney which is an amazing city by the way! There is so much to see, do and eat!
Since my last post in August 2012, I have started a new full-time job in Sydney with a renown Travel Technology company called Amadeus, as an e-Commerce Service Delivery Consultant. Since starting this role in December 2012, I have decided how much I missed the IT Travel industry. What does that mean about my photography business? Well, it has taken a small step to the side in the meantime, while I focus on my travel career... However, this is all part of my long-term goal. I'm in the travel industry so I travel, I shoot, I gather, and I have myself an extensive portfolio of travel photographs! Besides, I'm still selling my postcards in HAPA, adhoc prints, as well as accepting freelance opportunities during the weekends.
One of the perks of my job at Amadeus is that I get to travel to the different offices around Asia. I was in Bangkok in March (for training) and decided to take a day trip out to the Tiger Temple at Kanchanaburi, during the weekend before work. It was one of my best travel experiences and I would highly recommend the Half Day Tour (Breakfast with the monks) to everyone! Regardless of what some of the reviews may say, I personally do not believe that the tigers are under any influence of drugs. They were awake and active. Visitors who arrive in the afternoon may notice that the tigers are lethargic and asleep - most likely since it's their rest time after an energetic morning of activities ;-) Here are some of my personal favourites from my visit to the Tiger Temple:

While I was in Bangkok, I also managed to squeeze in a few visits to other places other than the office! Check out the view you get from Vertigo and Moon Bar!
And temples...
Hope everyone is well! x
