Ok, I've officially handed in my resignation at my office job. For two reasons, one of which I cannot really disclose just yet, but the other is because my photography business is picking up, and I just cannot take on three jobs at the same time (yes, that includes my role of being a stay-at-home mum for 4 days a week still ;-))
One of my main assignments at the moment is working for The Listening Post Christchurch. They sell hi-fi and home theatre systems and also do custom installations for residential properties. I was well impressed with many of the gadgets they stock! With my experience in real estate photography, I was offered an opportunity to try yet another new genre, which I wasn't going to turn down.
My assignment is to visit the client's properties and capture what the systems look like in a lifestyle area... It was definitely fun to have visited some very nice houses!!!

I was hoping to write a bit more in this blog to be honest, but my toddler has now awoken from his morning nap so I shall sign off here for now. I'm intending on posting a review of my manual flash for my next entry :-) so stay tuned if you're curious...!
